Theo Tamayo

Theo Tamayo is a legal fellow at the Knight First Amendment Institute. A former Institute extern, he has also worked on civil liberties litigation and research at the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression and the Brennan Center for Justice. He received an A.B. in History from Princeton University and a J.D. from Columbia Law School. During law school, Tamayo served as a staffer on the Journal of Law and Social Problems, a vice president of Columbia Law Students for Voting Rights, a research assistant to professors David Pozen and Kellen Funk, and a teaching fellow to professors Lee Bollinger and Christina Ponsa-Kraus.
